Integration courses

What are integration courses? Das Neustadtprojekt der Arbeit + Leben gGmbH

An integration course helps you to learn German.

This is important to find work, to fill in application forms, get to know other people or to support your children in school or in Kindergarten.

That is what you will learn in an integration course. In addition to that you will get to know important details about Germany’s history, the legal order and the political system.

How can I participate in an integration course?

For your participation you need an „Admission for an Integration course“.
You can apply for this admission at:

  • Foreigners‘ Authority
  • Jobcenter
  • City of Mainz
  • Federal Office for Migration and Refugees
  • Or you visit us at our office at Neustadt-Projekt

Each integration course consists of a language course and an orientation course. At the end you will finish with the B1-test and the test „Leben in Deutschland“ after the orientation course. There are different integration courses provided by the Neustadt-Projekt:
